Learn how we step out of our Comfort Zone!

From the beginning we were all so excited about going to the mountains. Even our D&P moms were excited and ready to start our adventure of a lifetime! A positive spirit hit us and never left us throughout our entire trip.

Once we finally reached our destination this is when the true fun was about to begin, and it was so fitting that our cabins name was called “Serenity”! Once the girls saw the beautiful cabin we were staying in for that weekend, all the screams and shouting started we were all blown away! The cabin was absolutely breathtaking, a large chef kitchen, beautiful dining area, and off from the dining room was a nice open living room space.  Upstairs was the first bedroom it was a loft setting, with an attached bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. Downstairs was an entertainment room with 72 inch plasma screen TV. There were also three balconies one on the side and two in the back, with the gas grill WOW!

Once the girls finished exploring the cabin it was then time for the girls to make their pizzas, it was also time for each of the girls, to enjoy each other. And of course they did a lot of laughing and talking!  It was also at that time that Mrs. Neka explained to the girls and the moms exactly what the agenda was for the weekend. She also explained that each girl was responsible for finding a buddy to spend the weekend with. It was so important for each girl to find a different bubby this was to give the girls the opportunity to really get to learn about one another.
Once we got the Pearls settled our Diamonds watched the girls to make sure that they were having a good time, and to also spend some quality time with the younger girls.  At this time we started our very first workshop with our D&P moms. Each of our mom’s took a Personality Self Assessment; this gave each mom opportunities to not only understand themselves better, but to also learn about the other mothers as well. The assessment test, lead as into a very enlightened and insightful conversation. We learned so much about our D&P mom’s and we were all so blessed to have the time to let all our worries and fears leave us to enjoy this much needed retreat!
The next day we really “STEPPED OUT OF OUR COMFORT ZONE”! We started out with a very BIG breakfast and the excitement for the day was in the air! We set off for White Water Rafting and Tubing!!
As you can see from the pictures we had a ball!  We learned a valuable lesson while rafting it takes incredible focus, timing and this most important thing TEAMWORK! As you can see from our pictures it took a lot of TEAMWORK to get down that Ocoee River. The Pearls also had a fun filled adventure; one of our Pearls (Jaida) said that her tubing adventure felt like she was White Water Rafting! ;o) Afterwards we had a nice picnic lunch to relax before heading back to the cabin..
Once back at the cabin the girls had time to relax and then it was time for our next workshop creating our “Vision Boards”. The idea behind a Vision Board is that when you surround yourself with images of who you want become, what you want to have where you want to live, where you to vacation, your life changes to match those images and those desires.

This was an experience of a lifetime that will NEVER be forgotten!!!
