For Black history month our young ladies learned more about some of our Phenomenal & Distinguished black women who has changed our world, and we haven’t heard so much about them like: Bethann Henderson (the first black woman to own a model agnecy) Nina Simone (singer) etc…
The girls did an excellent job with their presentation of the “Unsung Black Women who Rocked”, and our Girls ROCKED IT! All of our girls did an excellent job with each woman they did a report on. We could tell that each girl put time and effect into each of their presentation. We learned so much about each Black Woman who Rocked!
"As Mrs. Scott said: how can our girls move forward if they cannot look back at all the beautiful, powerful pioneers who has blazed the trial for all of us black women"!
